MCC verses BCC

Match Details
MCC falls short in chasing 209

On a perfect sunny day; the battle between MCC and BCC was about to begin. MCC won the toss and decided to field first. MCC was off to a good start again, after Jay provided a first break through. Later on, good bowling from Roberto and Nishant kept BCC in pressure.  However, after fall of quick wickets, BCC decided to go after singles. Bowling from Nish , Shuaib and Lokesh also made BCC frustrated, and forced them to play big shots which provided valuable wickets. MCC tried hard not to give away too many wides; however, MCC sprayed too many runs in wides. With better fielding and bowling, BCC’s inning ended at 209 runs.

MCC lions once again were ready to chase the target. Zafar and Roberto opened the MCC’s reply. Unfortunately, with a lot of shine left on the ball, BCC was able to move the ball around, and took Zafar by surprise. On one hand, Roberto flexed his muscles and went after the bowlers, on the other hand, Shauib concentrated his efforts on making the bowler tired and removing shine of the ball. With Shuaib’s wicket,  MCC was at 65/2. With Shuaib ‘s departure, MCC’s wickets began to drop. Roberto then decided to go after singles but wickets were still falling. After making precious 43 runs, Roberto decided to go for a big one and got caught. Cam walked in and knowing that the bowler was democrat, he went after him and hit two fours in that over. At the end, MCC finished at 146 – allout.
